Rocca Sorrentina: Buried Brandy Mini Hunt

Communty News & Events

Bugs? On our fair island? Doubtless they came ashore with the missing crew. I must discover if the smith's workshop includes a furnace...so many things can be melted down, recast, etc.

Rocca Sorrentina: Buried Brandy Mini Hunt

Communty News & Events

Lorsagne wishes she had been a fly on the wall at the smithy's...and why was a cloaked figure vising him? What need of his services did he have? A lock that needed to be "picked?" Or . .

Smuggling scenario -- conclusion

Communty News & Events

And I have to add....The whole scenario was absolute fun. Hats off to the always inspiring organizers at Rocca Sorrentina for a making the issues of the day real and sending me off on a voyage of discovery to learn more.

Dearest Captain,

With you and your men in port, we all can rest in comfort knowing we are safe.

I really must learn about black diamonds from Africa..I so admired the necklace the lady worse at the meeting with his Excellency. So unusual and very fine ....a piece of history to be certain.

Path for Antiquity in Summer of 2015

An eloquent post, Jacon. Let us hope the Lindens come to an understanding that educational environments enrich us all and should not be forced to close for lack of funding.

I am a French woman . . . we are born with sharp elbows to make our way to the head of any line. . no seamstress ever causes us to wait.

The Wreck: A Strange Encounter and a Stranger Observation

General Discussion

I hear the local officials are coming to search our homes this evening. Merde! I must gather my wits about me and pay a visit to my strongbox. One must be prepared to offer the soldiers an inducement to spare one's residence the disruption of a search, so I will also stop at the good Dottore's pharmacy for the oils I use to blend a most intoxicating scent and change into something rather more appealing to the eye than a simple day frock.

But I have nothing to fear from the inspection. And I have my ratty standing guard. . .one does what one must when it involves silk of the most wonderful quality . . . or so I hear. Of course, I would not have knowledge of any ill-gotten goods.

Good silk is hard to come by . . . . but the talented dressmakers of the island are enjoying a windfall.

the wreck

Communty News & Events

Lorsagne spent a frustrating hour removing splinters from her fingers...she will have to wear gloves to avoid casting suspicion on herself.

That Gandt fellow bears watching. One cannot help but wonder about a fellow who most often appears when new arrivals herald change and mystery. But who can tell; he may simply be a young man in search of coins for a slim purse.

Off to the dressmaker . . . Lorsagne has received a small windfall of exceptional silk that will do nicely for a new gown for the Decades Ball. Still, the map is curious and she will ask her godfather about New Castile and the by of Luzon; she seems to recall something . . .
