Grand Opening of The Royal Retreat, October 26 8 am to 12 noon

Please join us for The Grand Opening of The Royal Retreat! This event will occur on Sunday, October 26. The Royal Family of Britain will arrive for a time of restoration and re-invigoration. The designers of The Royal Retreat will be on hand to accept your congratulations. We do hope you will join us for these opening ceremonies, which will include a ball.

11:15 a.m. Welcoming Ceremony King George III, Queen Charlotte and their court will arrive in tired splendor The Royal Retreat at Frostbite Manor.

12noon - 1pm Guided Tours of the estate.

1:30 p.m. Grand Ball in Honor of Their RoyalMajesties, King George III and Queen Charlotte.

The Royal Retreat Welcome Center is in the sky above the estate. Attached to it are shops (which will be ready for business later this month). We'll be ready to announce the identities of our vendors shortly. I think you will be pleased with the selection of 18th century merchandise we will have to offer.

Please mark your calendars now and plan to join us for the grand opening celebrations on October 26.

Please join us for this time of sharing our favorite poems and short sections of fiction, nonfiction or drama. There should be ample time for discussing these works of literature, socializing, and, of course, enjoying the fine wine and food the villa has to offer. If you would like to share some great literary work, please be sure that it predates October 1784. If you are too shy to read to those gathered, but have something you yearn to share, please allow your hostess, Miss Fanny Burney, to read it for you. Shy as she is, Miss Burney adores performing literature.

The gathering will be in Miss Burney's rooms in the villa. It's upstairs. Look for apartment C.

I am not finding the menuet or chaconne or Maar Auer on market place. I understand he does not have a shop inworld either. The only way to buy from him is to contact directly?

Thankyou, ladies! That information helps a lot! I will be ready to make some dance purchases by week's end. Just spent a small fortune on virtual livestock for the joint, so gonna let my bank account rest for a couple of days before buying the dances.

I saw those. Are they ones you put into an Intan? I went there and could find nothing that told me if they are for Intan for some other dance system. I also thought they were all singles dances. Were there some I missed?

Is there a dance system available for period dances? I am looking especially for Georgian/Baroque/Rococo couples and group dances. Any suggestions on where to find such a thing?
