Greetings Everyone
Over the past few months, the dedicated team from Antiquity, has been working hard on the third and final level of Antiquity. Many hours of work have gone into its development and we hope that it brings everyone as much fun in their roleplay lives as it was to create it.
Antiquity Cotswolds was designed to be a "vacation spot" for roleplayers. In Regency era, Bath was very fashionable to visit and enjoy all the amenities that the city offered. Social events, doctors and apothecaries were among some of the reasons to visit. That is our vision here. A place you can roleplay a vacation. With a functioning hotel, dining room and spa among other things, Bath is a place you can come for a weekend or a few days and enjoy the sights.
Arriving at the Antiquity Central Station, you can grab a carriage to Cotswolds and after a short ride, you will arrive at Bath Station. Cotswolds is anchored by the Bath City Square and connects to the large estates of Tatton Park and Chateau de Clagny, a short carriage ride away. Bath Station, the carriage stop in Antiquity Bath is just to the side of the Queens Square Park and across the street from the historical Roman Baths and Spa.
Come and enjoy a stay at the Francis Hotel, dine and enjoy the spa, bathing and hair salon. Men and women alike should take a rest and pamper themselves. Visit with other residents and tourist. We are just opening and I will send out a notice soon with information on all that is offered.
I will be following up shortly with a notice about the available employment and housing opportunities. A great way to work a bit for comfortable lodging, a vacation home to come and enjoy the activities with out the monetary cost.
Amenities -
Roman Baths and Spa - Historical Building with accompanying information. The Bath shop has travel and spa items for sale and a hair salon above. The great baths are wonderful for bathing and medicinal. They have been in existence since the Roman Times. The terrace above the baths has the massage area.....and also outside, there are meditation and exercise mats. The dressing room tents are also accessible from the terrace level. Check notices for times the Spa attendant will be on duty.
Pump Room - Historical Building with accompanying information. The Pump Room is THE place to be seen during your vacation stay in Bath. A wonderful spot to sit down and have tea...and deserts, some spirited conversation with new and old friends alike.
Royal Crescent - Historical Building with accompanying information. The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent in the city of Bath, England. Designed by the architect John Wood, the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774, it is among the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the United Kingdom.
The Francis Hotel - Historical Building with accompanying information. The Francis Hotel is the top location to stay when your visiting Bath. A beautiful and upscale hotel with accommodations for all. Single rooms, well furnished with warm bedding and fresh linens to make travelers as comfortable as possible. For our royal and business class visitors, the hotel offers 2 room suites, a sitting room, well stocked with all that is needed for relaxing away from home with the bedroom, with all comforts.
The Francis Dining Room serves meals during the week and is a wonderful place to sit and have a hot meal. The dress is period/formal. There is also a private dining room for royals, landowners and rich merchants that would like a more proper meal. The Francis also offers some couples dining, more romantic and secluded from the main dining room. A wonderful place to bring your loved one for a quiet romantic meal.

The Orangery at Kensington Palace - Historical Building with accompanying information. The Orangery is a perfect place to get away and enjoy some art. Still used for its famous oranges, the Orangery has also be filled with works of art. Take some time to enjoy the rotating exhibits that will fill this wonderful light filled building.
St Martin in the Fields - Historical Building with accompanying information. A restored version of one of the original churches in Antiquity, this beautiful house of worship servers the spiritual needs of Bath. I should also mention, it is available for use as well.

Tatton Park - Historical Building with accompanying information.- Tatton Park is one of the UKs most complete historic estates. It is home to a Tudor Old Hall, Neo-Classical Mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens and 2000 acre deer park. Walk through this amazing recreation of the stunning mansion and accompanying Old Hall is known as one of the most haunted building in England
Chateau de Clagny - The Clagny-estate belonged to the Hôpital des Incurables until 1665 when Louis XIV bought it. The King intended to use it as a retreat for his mistress, Madame de Montespan and work began in June that same year.. André Le Nôtre designed the gardens while the château itself was the work of Jules Hardouin-Mansart. Walk through the amazing Grand Gallery and surrounding gardens with many places to sit and lose yourself in the views. Built by King Louis of Florin, it is an amazing day trip.
