Given my new-found interest in virtual vineyards of the 18th century, I thought that this report about biodynamic winemaking was very interesting. I love how they're using chickens, sheep, herbal tea etc. in their vineyards. Not only do I believe that it's great for the planet but it's something I can reflect in my own little virtual space.
Chickens, moon cycles, herbal tea and a bull’s horn. What might sound like the ingredients in a witch’s brew is the newest trend in winemaking as Bay Area vintners embrace biodynamics as a way to ween off pesticides in favor of natural methods for grape growing.
