Snow Angels
I was reading to Candace ‘The Spirit of Laws’ by Montesquieu, adding a personal comment here and there, and she seemed to pay it great attention ( that’s how much she loves me).But suddenly, out of the blue, she asked:” What about going out to our garden , and doing snow angels?”
I thought it was a good way to test Montesquieu’s Theory of Climates, and agreed and we enjoyed it a lot, for the sake of literature and political science, of course.

Actually, we were talking about snow angels at one dinner over the holidays, my father-in-law leaned in and said, "See, so many things show you what is in the mind of a culture. In Poland we would run out when there was snow and fall on our backs to make - Polish eagles!"
