I have the pleasure to introduce you the latest collection from Le Grenier du Chteau. This time, thinking in our admired sea men that defend our coasts against the evil pirates, bucanneers and other scurvy dogs that wander across the seven seas of second life!

Based upon real uniforms patterns from early 1800, this new set of uniforms is trusted to the details relative to rank and position that represent. In these years was the first time that diferent armies starting to regulate this kind of details like diferent eppaulets or ribbons in the coats, hats, and so. Until this new regulations, the military ranks was not regular and you can find diferent symbols or unifroms for the same ranks, depending in ocasions of the officier's taste or of the money that could spend on them!

This set of Navy uniforms is formed by four diferent dress coats; Lieutenant, Captain or Commanders, Rear Admiral and Vice Admiral, a fitting set of this period navy hats, and epaulettes for each rank, sold separately. So, you can choose between wear breeches or blue trousers, that looks very elegant for balls and other court events. This change between breeches and trousers happened really in these years, so, aproximately since the 50's of 19th century the trousers was the only one, replacing the breeches in the military wardrobe.

As you know, You can find them in your close Le Grenier shop!

Best regards,

Trasgo Beaumont.

(Our thanks to Versailles Court and Trudeau Sailing Yatchs for the wonderful background for these pictures!)
