This is the final week of the special sale on Qing Dynasty painting, under way on the upper floor of Les Arts de Saint-Bruno, Mont Saint Bruno, Antiquity Heights. The special Qing Dynasty art sale began in June, in association with the Silk Road Hunt. Chinese art and artisanerie were much in vogue throughout the 18th and 19th centuries; a trifle of chinoiserie was considered good form, at times even de rigeur, in any cultured establishment.

Next week the shop will begin a sale of Renaissance art in preparation for the Renaissance Hunt.
