I was lucky enough to spend some time in the Pavillion and it is gorgeous - but the furnishings have truly blown me away! Must must MUST have!
NEW ~ redesign of the 1772 Versailles label, for 1773!

Style may be eternal but fashion constantly changes - so, for 1773 (merci Stormy!) we have redesigned the Versailles accuracy label!
As everyone is (hopefully!) aware, the label is awarded for accurate Second Life recreation of female and male dress for the Versailles period, as well as providing guidance for those hoping to improve the accuracy of their creations.
I'll be sending out new, updated textures to all the 1772 1773 creators in-world later this evening!

Given the increase in wonderful 18th and 19th century sims around Second Life, a time-travelling tour of historical landmarks would be rather fantastic. I am big fan of the work Painter Meriman does - here are a few of his 19th century colonial builds, custom historical work rather than his (equally wonderful) houses:
