Dear Sir,I admired your courage and strength of will yesterday at the En Garde fencing meeting: although a complete beginner, you did not hesitate ONE second to jump on the piste, in front of a numerous attendance. I know how disturbing the comments and lazzis of the crowd may be for a beginner who tries to focus and understand the gameplay, and I can only compliment you for your splendid behavior. Of course, your fencing was not at the top, but for a first time, it was at least decent:)... and the Comtesse de Rochelle, your opponent, took the best out of your inexperience!
