Your question intrigued me, so I went to speak with the resident philosopher at the coffee house by the harbor in Sorrentina. He pointed out that he and his colleagues have significant reservations about the behaviorist's conclusions, because they observed that when researchers used higher life forms (i.e., "cats") as test subjects in their work, those "test subjects" in fact actually manipulated the researchers through positive reinforcement into giving them more treats. I then pointed out that didn't that in fact support the concept of behaviorism -- albeit not in the way that the researchers thought it did. At that point, the resident philosopher elected to ignore me and give himself a bath.
Jeepers Pekel !!! A little something lighter for me please when I come to the computer first thing in my (a bit late today) morning ... will need to return AFTER I finish my first cup (or perhaps second) cup of expresso ~
