The Comtesse was last to arrive to the card table with unusually full confidence. But then again, my old enemy was known to work for Cardinal de Rohan - the leader of the oppositionists to the Queen. She, eventually, was found out to have gained access to the Petit Trianon by copying a letter from the King. She was sent away in disgrace. Scandalous!
