Resolving disputes in a virtual world by Canary Beck (Second Life Blogger)

Thanks for sharing this, Leena.
She makes some good points and I've always been a fan of "win-win" situations. As you mention, it also goes well with the troll article. Conflict resolution can take a lot of time and effort so it's really good to be able to quickly identify the people that aren't acting in good faithin order tosave your resources for the people that are.

Buckingham Palace Virtual Reality Tour Launched
Google's project allows people to look around the palace's state rooms and the ballroom where knighthoods and OBEs are presented.
A newly-created virtual reality experience allows people to look around some of the palace's state rooms, taking the viewer into the heart of the royal residence and bringing the ornate furniture, fixtures and fittings to life.
Visitors can stand at the bottom of the grand staircase and, although they are unable to move, they can still take in an almost 360-degree view of the architectural wonder.
They can also look down the picture gallery at the Old Masters hanging on the wall, and then look behind them at the paintings.
Other highlights of the VR experience include tours of the lavishly decorated Green and White drawings rooms and the ballroom where knighthoods and OBEs are presented by the Queen.

Science Confirms: Internet Trolls Really Are Narcissistic, Psychopathic, and Sadistic
Off Topic
Thought this was interesting (though not surprising):
Overall, the authors found that the relationship between sadism and trolling was the strongest, and that indeed, sadists appear to troll because they find it pleasurable. Both trolls and sadists feel sadistic glee at the distress of others, they wrote. Sadists just want to have fun ... and the Internet is their playground!

Yes, a country home would be the perfect place for these, Tiamat. Let's hope that even the "refined" wouldn't turn down a good cookie on occasion
Still, I have to admit that allowing my lord's influence in one room may be fair, as my own tends to dominate elsewhere.
Still chuckling over this as it definitely applies to my own situation ((especially in RL)).
Happy Holidays to you!!
