My latest months was a continue fight with rigged mesh, I saw the posibilities and I need to do that, and make period clothes with them! Now I think that in few days I can launch to sale my first mesh outfit (a Regency one) that you can see in the following picture. And my advice about them are -: patience, patience and perseverance... (and Avastar with Blender if you use it... that could simplify your "mesh life a lot!!) Mesh period clothes are possible, with all the complexity that you like!

(Excuse me that little promotion of my new suit... but I think that the picture is exemplative of the discussion...)

Thanks a lot for your kind words, I'll try don't make you wait too much to could see the complete set. I'm just in these bored moments that a designer must spend packing the items and making the logistic work.

On relation to meshes, in fact I made some tries with myself experimenting with the use of this new and amazing technic in the period clothes. I paused a little the develop with meshes at the moment because there are lot of people that use yet old viewers, and I receive enough comments about the problem of wear meshes when most of people cannot see them. If this happen, you will be showing your nude body in middle of a cloud of extrange forms without rezz - that is nooo good thinking in our court events... do you know the tale of the Emperor clothes?

But I think that meshes are the future - and probably a close one. I'll try to keep you informed about my progress with them, and about the diferent posibilities of use that they can have - in our beloved period.

Hussar Style news!

The extraordinary success that my Hussar Style had through the diferent Courts of SL, caused that I tried to complete it to make possible that our hussar gentlemen are as well equiped as possible. So, I'm proud of introduce you my new items in this military elegant collection:

New Hussar Boots: faithful to the original shape and using the newest technics for its 3d modeling and baked textures, they are made in four diferent colour trimmed to fit with your prefered hussar uniform.

Sabretaches: worn by cavalry official, was a needed complement of the uniform. These beautiful leather pouch was designed to carry inside sheet od papers, ink and feathers, needed to send messages and orders through the army regiments.(There was not mobile phones or email in this time yet!) You can find a complete collection formed with eight diferent designs in your prefered Le Grenier Shop.

And as cherry of the cake of all to this new launching, I'm glad to show you the new Black Hussar Uniform, that I'm sure will be of your taste!
