Hello everyone,

I confess to being fascinated with this story about the late King. I cannot imagine the astonishment of all those involved to not only find his grave, but to confirm his identity.

King Richard III of England's remains were found under a parking lot in 2012. After testing and study, he is to be reburied. His death was in the year 1485 in battle, during the War of the Roses.

Here's the original post, when his body was first discovered.

Cheers,

Lady Leena :)

A fascinating story to be sure. I just finished The King's Grave: The Discovery of Richard III's Lost Burial Place and the Clues It Holds by Philippa Langley & Michael Jones.

Here's a bit more to consider: Issues Surrounding the 21st Century Funeral of Richard III
