I realized that besides providing me with all the "garden porn" I could ever hope tooglePinterestcould also give me a way to create & maintain a functional gardening journal. It was a revelation!

Great post Tatiana and a great idea :)

The phrase 'Garden porn' as you put it is still making me laugh too :P

Thanks, Leena!

It's working out rather well for me. Now I can identify some of the strange plants that I bought, planted & then forgot :)

I'm guessing that "garden porn" is probably a well used phrase but I'm too scared to google it to actually confirm that.

I agree, I put some plants out in the front flower beds with some labeled wood craft sticks so I could keep track of what was but some of them have been lost now so one of the plants is a mystery, LOL. It's thriving so it's working out just fine though.

And yes, googling that term would be scary ..... I think so too.

Cheers :)

Well it's kind of nice to have "mystery" plants, especially if they are thriving :)

One of my big problems is remembering how to care for things that need special pruning. I have three types of clematis and they each are pruned differently. At least now with my virtual journal I can figure out when to cut what.
