Hello all, I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Summer. I have two new releases that I'm very proud of and hope you enjoy. I'm changing the way I present my products with these new ad-boards. In the past I enjoyed telling stories with my pictures but as I move forward I'd really like my work to be more of the focus and so the adboards are a new element.

All gowns are available at my main store on Canal Sud, Duch de Coeur - Cherie Design House

& Les March de Versailles - Chateau de Versailles in Second Life - sorry I don't have a link at the moment.

The first gown "Bastille Day Gown" was inspired by one of my favorite gowns from the Kyoto Costume Institute. This is a late period gown around 1780. I would describe this outfit as a "Town and Country ensemble." It's a complete outfit available in three color combinations, Red, Gold and Blue and is available for a limited time at $300L!

I saved the best for last! Presenting my first Le Grand Habit de Cour . This gown comes in three color combinations Rouge, Gold and Royale (Purple.) This gown was something I've been meaning to get to but procrastination gets me every time. Finally out of necessity (I didn't own a Grand Habit ohh the horror!) I made my first. For presentation at court, women had to wear the grand habit . Traditionally the grand habit was made of all the same fabric sometimes up to 25 feet of yardage was use for one gown! These gowns were extremely cumbersome and heavy so the ladies would taking gliding little shuffle steps across the rooms since they were difficult to walk in. Can you imagine having to shuffle from wing to wing at Versailles in such an elaborate gown? My goodness pass me the champagne quick! lol

Gorgeous garments - the red grand habit reminds me of the pearl-covered ballgown Marlene Dietrich wears in The Scarlet Empress. Love the new board design too. Bravo!

As a small tailor from the provinces who is recently new to Les marchs de Versailles this is indeed a great honor for me you Majesty. I love doing research on all types of 18th century attire and will continue to learn more and attempt new styles so all your courtiers continue to shine! ;)

I ADORE the styles of Pompadour, and from c. 1780 on ... it's mid-1770s to 1780 that leaves me a little cold, and wouldn't you know I'm playing Marie-Antoinette?? (chuckles) May have to get the Bastille gown and run around on the roof when no one is at the chateau!!

See, with me, I adore them all! Especially the late 70's and early 80's, but I love the 60's too - I do just love them all, but the 70's hair is just fabulous! Though I like the hair of the 80's too, and I like the 60's hair... hmmm - yes, I like them all!
