The court life was based on images, ceremonies, anywhere in Europe, consisted mainly of live allegories of personal power. Therefore, each range of the court had aesthetic margins, I mean that a ducal prince could not seem to be a wealthy merchant, or a tax collector, nor could he neglect his appearance before the King.It would be ridiculous for a man who wears cotton jackets trying to bring his entire family in prominent positions in the royal administration. Therefore, the nobles wore silk, velvet, taffeta, and many other rich fabrics, embroidery spectacular, and the best shoes, wigs, underwear, and jewelry (such as the indispensable sword). However ,after 1770 men's fashion seems to be simplified without dispense rich materials, and thus, the courts seemed a little more homogeneous.
My work is in the middle, in that even transition from Rococo crazier and simplicity of the Enlightenment. But are clothes generally to be in a palace or a garden lying in the grass with happy companies.
I hope you enjoy.
