Not having a suitable mourning gown, I took advantage of your sale last night, and I also sent my alt (who is on a tighter budget than I am, poor girl) to take advantage of the free gifts. I found it difficult to choose which of the two black silks I should purchase, but finally settled on the one with the veil - so genteel, and such elegance in the pleating on the skirt.
