I came back to SL after a long absence and was saddened to find out that Rocca is no longer around. I have very fond memories of going there with friends, having fun and taking pictures. Sometimes I get nostalgic about my time in the courts in the early/mid 2010s, I think of all of the sims, the posts about new releases, the mad scramble to be the first to upload pictures after an event, respecting the daily limit of course. Out of all of the places that have since come and gone, it seemed like Rocca would go on forever.
Lovely to hear from you, Leopoldina. Thank you for the walk down memory lane.
I also get nostalgic about Rocca Sorrentina considering it was "joined at the hip" so to speak with Provence Coeur for so many years. It was wonderful to be part of a bigger whole with people you could trust AND have a whole lot of fun with.
Fortunately many of those people are still around and though the land may be gone, the relationships continue.
We gathered for one last time in the coffeehouse of Rocca Sorrentina. Many thanks to Sere, Aldo & Aph for all those wonderful weekly conversations.
