[AoR] Candles & Beeswax for the new Chandler

The Chandler skill has just been added!  A chandler was traditionally someone who worked with candles & soap among other household items.

To facilitate the making of candles, via the new Candle Maker, beeswax can now be crafter via the Honey Extractor.

The first candle, Candle01 is plain beeswax:

• Heals 1 point of HEALTH every 60 seconds for every player within 2 meters.
• Can be turned on/off by Touch.
• Burns for a total of 60 minutes.  Burn time is accumulated when the candle is on, i.e. the flame is visible.

Scented candles that provide healing for ENERGY & HYGIENE are planned and should arrive shortly.

Candle Makers are now available for use in the communities.  Beeswax is currently available from Myriam but she will stop selling it as soon as a supply is readily available from our merchants.  Wicks are also available from Myriam.

[AoR] Pastry Maker

A new AoR Crafter is ready for beta testing in the QH Kitchen and everyone is welcome to give it a try.

This Pastry Maker is associated with the new Pastry Chef skill.

It currently produces Pie_crust and Sugar_cookie_dough (used in the new Halloween cookies ).  No more begging Myriam for your pastry dough, now you can make your own!

Apples, Apples, Everywhere

Just in time for the fall harvest, a variety of new apple items:

• Apple pie - baked in the oven
• Apple cider - cooked in the Cast Iron Pot (non-alcoholic)
• Cider - pressed in the Winepress then aged for three days in a barrel (alcoholic)
• Apple brandy - created in the Distiller from Cider

The brand-new Apple Trees are expected to start producing fruit today.  Apples can also be purchased directly from Myriam.

Can't wait?  A limited number of bottles of Queen's Hamlet Cider are being sold in the Market.

Henrietta Has Come Home to Roost!

I'm delighted to announce the first in a series of three laying hens, affectionately know as Henrietta or [AoR] Hen 01 v1.1 (if you want to get technical about it).

Henrietta has a LI=2, uses Corn:1:Water:1, and takes 24 hours to produce one egg.  Her associated skill is Poultry Farmer.

Movement & Sound can be turned on/off by using Right Click - Manage - Modify.  These features are accessible either before the hen has been feed or after an egg has been collected.

The collected egg goes directly into your AoR basket.   A bowl containing six eggs can be delivered via the HUD - Basket - Get - Egg.  Bowls of eggs are useful if you wish to sell/give eggs to other players.

Henrietta is now available for purchase in the market. Corn can be purchased directly from Myriam.

Henrietta's upcoming fellow fowl will vary in appearance and animation while retaining the same requirements and production rate.  These sisters are meant to add variety to your farm yard.

Egg Breakfast Board - Get Cracking!

I'm eggcited to announce that an Egg Breakfast Board has just been added to our available recipes. 

It can be made with the brand-new Cast iron skillet, requires Cooking: Level 3, and uses Butter:6:Egg:6:Orange:3:Strawberry:8:Sweet_bread:6:Tomato:3

The skillets are now being sold in the Market.

Myriam is currently selling eggs as we await a shipment of laying hens which will allow us all to become poultry farmers should we so choose.
