Delightful. I have read bothPride and Prejudice andMaster and Commanderrepeatedly, but not in tandem; doing so will be a pleasure!

There are also shop and residential spaces available in Antiquity Heights - Mont Saint Bruno: some elegant apartments in the Palais Offenbach, a two-story house in the Place de la Cathdrale that may be used for either home or shop purposes (or a shop with a private apartment above), and also one large ground-level shop space in the Palais that opens onto the Place de la Cathdrale.
I think the possible educational benefits are important. Those of us with historical interest want to know how life worked in the 1700's or whatever other centuries we play in. An examination of an historical economy can be made far more meaningful through a tool such as this that gives people reason to become actors within the economy. It can also shed light on current socioeconomic challenges in less-affluent corners of the modern world. (The participants I would most like to see are social studies teachers-in-training!)
I love the idea of a busy and interactive village, but unfortunately I'm one of those people who dislikes replicating too many necessities of RL in SL...The health meter does not appeal although the production and marketing side can be fun and certainly provide some reason for RP interaction. Limited SL hours get eaten up too quickly, even without having to stop and farm in order to eat. I can see it being a lot of fun, though, for those who aren't farming and cooking in RL! And I am certainly willing to buy, in the context of an RP market event.
Yes. Both the hair and the skin I have in Kitely just aren't quite Tiamat, although of course I was able to apply the exact parameters for the shape, which helped.
I wish Linden Lab would realize that in the long run, they would be doing themselves a favour by allowing some exportability mechanisms, thereby looking as though they actually do have some interest in serving their subscribers. After all, they know who their premium members are, and it is NOT a breach of any real copyright laws for a person to give an item to him or her self. If we all find ourselves gravitating more and more to open sims that use essentially the same technologies, it will be LL's ultimate loss. I think they are counting too much on people's desire not to abandon existing inventories - a motivation, but only to a point.
Motivation to spend more time (and money!) in Kitely, where both primmage and cash go further!
I will have to talk Jacon or Crotian (or some other skilled builder) into creating a single-family Rococo or Regency home for the Kitely market, to go with the new furnishing possibilities you'll be bringing over, Tatiana.
For me, of course, the temptation is between the blue and the green which Jacon has also created. Though the red and gold are also very fine...A dither indeed.
