I preferCountess Mary Gunning - likely due to not only the dress, but the overall appeal taking into account the head-dress and the ambiance of the pose.
Mary Gunning was a famed beauty and as a picture to look at I favor hers, but if we are going to say "who wore it better" in terms of "who seems to be more at home in her Turkish outfit" then I have to say that Madame Adelaide has got it all going on. Mary Gunning is probably thinking whether she should have chosen her *other* rouge, whereas I think Adelaide is reading the 1762 bestseller "Terrified Turks and Thin Thighs in Thirty Days" (unfortunately from a contemporary perspective, not effective enough on the first part, only somewhat effective on the second).

Phew, no sign of Madame Royale. I think Countess wore it better =)
Maybe it's a more composed look, I suppose..
I think both are a bit unusual, but I like Mary Gunning more

The Countess I believe, wore it better. Much lighter and more inviting.
