Second Life being Second Life, there should be enough room for as many layers of history and pseudo-history as we care to create. The Papacy has lasted for a long time, with each new papal regime carrying its own flavour, appreciated by a different set of players should any of them become the subject of a community RP. Those who enjoy Pontifical Aula based in MSB, as His Holiness Pius IX has explained it, will likely be quite a different group than those who want to immerse themselves in the morass of Borgia politics and scandal, or are fascinated by the schisms that led to the Avignon papacy, for instance. History is large, and we are all imaginative.

I fear that the Sea Witch accounts are also true. She seized Duchess Twelfth Night last evening and released her, but kept a lock of her hair...and appeared briefly at a ball in the community...and I see that Her Grace has not updated her comment even though the Sea Witch clearly is more than rumour. I fear that some dread arcane use is being made of that hair. The Sea Witch's lair is too close to Ile MarieGalante for comfort, so I have started a protective potion of my own brewing on the beaches.

I was admiring Golden Fall when you were wearing it on Sunday, Twelfth. My own complexion will not stand orange, but my alt wears it well; I will have to send her by your shop. She needs to hunt for your Haunts of Antiquity gift anyway - and I believe that particular gift will also be a good complement to the Hallows Eve gown.

The mermaid ghost continues to sit on her rock, combing her hair, quite uncaring of the landwalkers' eternal quarrel - so like a mer.
