Oh, it is very waterproof. I think the fact several people drowned while test driving this carriage, and the carriage exploding several times in the water does not necessarily mean it is not waterproof.

A beautiful carriage - it does look a bit simple, simple but elegant and the interior looks lovely! (And no one needs an over-ornate carriage to travel to Paris, except the royal matr...mistress)
Oh several people drowned while testing? I hope only common people, it would be sad to loose some (male) courtiers...
