Barbary Coast "Auction House"
A place to Auction off captured slaves and an office & apartment for the slaver exclusively made for the Barbary Coast Role-Play.
Took on this project solely for the challenge because I have never built in the Moroccan Style. Required a bit of research. I had to compromise between pure Moroccan and the style that was already there on the sim. I thought I was adding character when I custom made the outer worn out plaster look but the owner keeps referring to it to as grunge style textures which makes me think of jeans, flannel & rock music- not what I was hopping to invoke :'(
Learned that those pop out windows are called Oriel Windows

Looks good! I think of that look as "aged" rather than grunge. Grunge always makes me think of Kurt Cobain
Aged - exactly! I wanted the building to look like it had been there for a while rather than brand spanking new. Its now proudly standing in the korat Market place on the BC sims.
I love this build! It's very functional and goes well with the existing style of the sim!
