Now available in my store and on the SLM at Petit Trianon-Salon Arm Chair & Petit Trianon-Salon Arm Chair (Copy)

I'm really excited about this as it's my first foray into the daunting world of Mesh!! This chair has all the detailing that I love with only half the land impact. Now that I've got my feet wet, I'm hoping that more mesh will soon follow :))

1544_discussions.png?width=350

This elegant arm chair with its authentic detailing was inspired by the furniture used in the Salon of Marie Antoinette's Petit Trianon.

Being a Mesh object it requires you to use a Mesh enabled Viewer to see it correctly. At its current size and state it has a total Land Impact of 9.

1545_discussions.png?width=350

You will see that the chair comes in two pieces (the Chair Body and the Seat Cushion). Both of these pieces should be selected when you move the chair. If you forget and they become separated, the Seat Cushion is meant to be centered on the Chair Body . Copy the Position of the Chair Body (x, y & z) to the Position of the Seat Cushion to put them back together. Please note that linking the Chair Body to the Seat Cushion will increase the Land Impact to 17.

1546_discussions.png?width=350

It comes pre-loaded with four poses; two for relaxing and two for dining. Sit on the Seat Cushion. Touch the Seat Cushion for the HUD to control the poses.

If you would like to customize the pose positions specifically for your avatar, type /1a into Local Chat for the HUD. It will remember the custom positions for the 50 most regular users.

Many thanks for taking a look!! I do hope you have a mesh enabled viewer so that this doesn't look like a blob :))

LOL Constance, you know me way too well!!

I've been hoarding pictures like that (including those pine cones) for years now :))

It was always frustrating that in the absence of mesh it was so difficult to create all those beautiful things and if you did manage to do it you usually paid a high price in prim/land impact charges.

It's really exciting what we're now able to dowith mesh. Now there's thechallenge of learning how to 3D model in an efficient manor. Good times!!

This ispositivelyamazing tat! Congrats on creating such a stunningpieceof furniture. Throughexperiencesof my own, its not an easy feat. Its easy to buy the sculpt andarrangeit, you did more, your effort is noticed! I love how you worked the fine details and the fabric to perfection. I bet it was a pain making the textures, and getting them to fit in the right spots eh?

Merci beaucoup, Duc :))

Yes, the textures were a pain probably more so since I've beendreaming of makinga good fabric one for the Petit Trianon Salon for a few years now. I'm so glad I can cross that off my list.

Well it seems that I just couldn't leave this one alone, so I've added another version that allows you to select from 5 different fabric choices.

I've updated the original post with the new Louis XVI Salon Arm Chair :))

Many thanks to everyone for taking the time to look, "Like" and your kind comments!!

(confused) Why would anyone want anything other than THE chair from the PT salon? In that beautiful red-and-white?

(Hee just kidding, not everyone else is a PT maniac. Hope you sell tons. Gorgeous.)

LOL - One of the best things about SL (besides not having to dust or do the laundry) is that you can have a chairs like this onethat reupholsters itself with the click of a button. Go ahead and change it according to your mood of the moment!!
